With their 60,000 square foot facility, specializing in shipping and refurbishing various equipment, their location services clients throughout the U.S. as well as all over the world. Your role with the Company:
A Reconditioning Technician is responsible for performing complex troubleshooting and repair of electrical (12/24/36 DC and 120 voltage) and mechanical equipment.
A Reconditioning Technician assesses core equipment, locates parts in the warehouse inventory, deconstructs equipment (reads and interprets mechanical drawings of machines and equipment) and replaces parts (motors, propane, gas and diesel, to name a few).
Read and interpret mechanical drawings of machines and equipment.
Reconditioning also includes cleaning, some paint and body repair as well as thorough testing to meet reconditioned manufacturing equipment requirements.
Able to work with Shop Manager to provide status reports and estimated time of completion.
Maintaining work area: cleanliness, equipment and tools.
High School diploma or GED is required.
Must have Personal Hand Tools: Multi-meter, sockets, wrenches, cordless drill. Client will supply any other tools necessary.
Must have experience rebuilding and replacing motors, troubleshooting and working on compressors.
Experience with Electric, LP, Gasoline and Diesel components.
Experience with wiring diagrams and schematics.
Experience with electrical troubleshooting: 12/24/36 DC and 120 voltage.
Minimum of five years practical technical work an industrial setting.
