Description MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares and submits proposals in response to customer requests coordinating input from marketing, quality, transportation and accounting as required. Reviews terms and conditions; coordinates with marketing, R&D and Division Legal Counsel, as necessary, and negotiates properly approved contract terms and conditions with customers. Receives and reviews orders from customers ensuring compliance to bid. Distributes orders and coordinates customer requirements with marketing, production, transportation, and quality as required. Performs contract administration duties ensuring compliance to contract requirements including but not limited to maintenance of contract files, preparation of invoices when required, tracking deliveries, coordinate with R&D/production scheduling/transportation as required to ensure timely deliveries, follow-up with customers and contract closeout. Works with both internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Attends regular meetings, assists in audit/reviews and carries out other Contract related duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. / B.A. Degree from accredited college or university (preferable in Business, or closely related field. Individual must have 3 - 10 years experience in contracts administration preferably with US Government and/or International contracts along with a working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, ITAR, EAR and Federal Government property system. Must be able to work irregular hours and occasional weekends.

This person must also be a self-starter and have the ability to operate with limited supervision and exercise a high degree of independent decision-making, discretion and judgment. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must be dependable, ethical and trustworthy.
